Created by Ilse Kettlewell in 2008, Delish started as a small production facility which quickly grew, from a small factory sharing space with a sister company, to occupying 2 HACCP specified manufacturing and processing factories.
Delish was born from an idea and a small selection of products made by Ilse Kettlewell for close friends and family. These products became so popular that the local supermaket, Village Square SuperSpar started stocking some of the line items. It was only really then that Delish grew into a business and a full time occupation for Ilse and David.
In 2009, Delish moved into its first ever factory premises sharing space with a sister company. Even under the trying conditions of manufacturing, Delish continued to grow in popularity and exponentialy. By July 2009, the first products started making their way into the Supermarkets in Port Elizabeth. The reception by the public for the Delish products was so amazing that the growth in the business was almost unbelievable. In 2010, renovations started in a new premsies to comply with the recently passed legistation for Good Manuafacturing processes. Intially, Delish occupied the lower level of the two factories however in 2014, Delish took over both factories, and split into High Risk and Low Risk facilities. Since then, we have passed two FSA Audits with flying colors. Retail Customers can request copies of the FSA Certificate from Barry Tonkin, QC.
Today we are proud to say that our products are stocked in selected retailers along the Garden Route, selected stores in Cape Town and surrounds, Eastern Cape Inland at selected retailers in the Karoo, Port Elizabeth and East London with plans for further national expansions in the succeding 5 years.
It is important to note that none of our success would have been possible without the support of the Wholesale and Retail Cusomers, The Spar Management Groups - in particular Village Square SuperSpar in St Francis Bay, the staff of Delish and not least the loyal support of the Consumer.

At the head of Delish are Ilse and David Kettlewell, who founded the business based on Ilse s dreams. Both Members are still very involved with the business on a day to day bases. Ilse can be found on many occasions in the factory cooking up a storm or mixing your favourite products. David crunches the numbers to bring the best prices in the country.
The Factory is managed by Barry Tonkin who has qualified as a Quality Control Officer and ensures that all products that leave the Delish premises are in compliance with all the latest HACCP and GMP Regulations.

All of our products are handmade or processed according to consumption predictions. We source the freshest local ingredients to use in our manufacturing process to produce the highest quality best tasting products. This means that all products are fresh and have the maximum life span once purchased.
